Sunday on the Noc was windy and white. With gusts over 30 mph, winds from the northwest worked all day to send the tranquil blanket of snow on the bay down through the narrows. Huge walleyes are definitely roaming Little Bay de Noc. Reports of fish becoming active over the weekend were on the rise. Not a large number of fish being caught, but big. Solid perch action continues as some anglers attempt to chase the big ones, while others are content with filling their daily limit with 7-11 inch fish. A cold snap is in the forecast for the next couple of days, followed by another warm-up for the weekend. It doesn’t get better than this. Tonight’s picture is from a couple weeks ago in one of our wagons before preparing for fish for dinner.
