Temperatures held steady today in the low 20s. Steady was the wind as well out of the northwest. Gusts? No it’s whipping out there. I didn’t see it, but I know there was some cleat less soul out there that took a ride with that wind today. It’s not really out of hand if we had snow but the slick ice makes it feel like a 30 mile an hour wind. With no snow on the bay that’s the way it’s gonna stay for a couple more days. Then some single digits and the wind lays down a bit before the weekend. Many anglers are experiencing the way they came out from a landing isn’t necessarily the way they can go back. These pressure cracks are constantly changing. Navigate safely and smart. Or, make sure with this slick ice you can get enough speed to launch over. Right Marv?
