What a day on the Bay. Single digits to start the morning followed by brilliant sunshine the majority of the day. Weather prognosticators missed it on the wind. Kicked yer tail out of the south to the point of irritation. The even blanket of snow transformed to intermittent drifts littering bare ice. The pressure cracks are settling some and offering many places to cross with a machine. Ice measured 10 plus inches on the upper bay with the exception of the usual danger areas. If you’re not privy to the danger zones, stop by and take a look at a map with us. A number of anglers are taking to the ice for some over night camping. Leave no trace. That means pick up all your crap when you leave. Thx! Today we kicked off our overnight ice season for the next few months. Good luck to all the anglers enjoying the ultimate Little Bay de Noc ice adventure.
