Snow drifted as the winds blew relentlessly this morning. Now The Bay is whitecaps of snow and bare ice. Ice conditions are excellent except for places you should never go. Earlier, we reported that somebody went in off of Hunters Point. Looking around tonight, I didn’t see any action by Hunters, but I did see some lights and people scurrying around by Saunders. We’ll find out more information in the morning. Regardless, the narrows is definitely one of those places you should not be driving a truck near.
Fishing continues to be tough. Determined anglers keep at it and are rewarded. Tonights picture is of a young angler from Merrill, WI. Not far from my home town. Nice fish Zach!
