14 degrees and another beautiful sunrise today on Little Bay de Noc. The overnight temps in the teens firmed up the wet snow. This made for a bumpy ride navigating yesterdays ruts. This back-and-forth is going to go on for the rest of the season. Which is fine. We’ve got good ice and don’t need anymore. The bite shut down around 10 o’clock Friday morning for most anglers. I’m looking forward to reports over the weekend as many anglers have made their way to the Noc for the mild weather. 45° Saturday. Our friend Joe took his guests Glenn and his dad Pat from Newberry, MI out for the morning. 29 1/2” eye on a large golden lake shiner. Nice fish Glenn!
