What a day on the bay! Clear sky’s and brilliant sunshine. The walleye bite was good for some this morning and then by most accounts shut right down well before noon. Hard to say with very few anglers out there compared to the weekend. Looking for some solitude on the bay? Try during the week. Jim did and look what it got him. Nice fish Jim! Thanks for bringing that eye in to weigh at Blades Bait & Tackle. Ice conditions are good north of Gladstone. Except at the tip of Garth point where an angler on a snowmobile went into the drink. He made it out but I’m sure it was a cold morning. He was taken to warmth via Delta Ice Rescue Team. His snowmobile was recovered by TKL Repair.
