Wrapping up the weekend with all kinds of fish stories. Some say they can’t find fish. A fair number of anglers catching lots of undersize walleye. Big eyes remain elusive for most. Ice continues to form south of Escanaba. Plenty of people are venturing out off the Terrace with reports of 6 to 7 inches of ice. Larger fish are being caught but you’ll need to be on the move to find them. The Little Bay de Noc forecast has mild temps hanging around until Saturday. Get out and enjoy it. Then prepare for a deep freeze. Looks like highs around 10 and hitting zero or lower at night. Picture today is of our boy Red. He’s usually hanging around the bait shop and ready to help. He’s laying low now with a sore ear and we can’t find a veterinarian to see him for weeks. Hang in there boy. On a brighter note. It’s our daughter Brooke’s birthday today. Happy Birthday Trout!!!
